Hi, everyone,
It's time for my car to have a detailing--both exterior and interior. Just don't have time to do it myself, especially don't have the tool and skill to do buffing after waxing.

I live in San Gabriel Valley of Southern California. Does anyone know any good detailers in this area? How much is it usually?

Not hijacking here, but interested as well, in the San Fernando Valley.

 

standard detail in and out should run you a couple hundred. but if you want full restoration with paint correction and all, it will be more.

 

I'm not gonna do anything about paint correction. First of all, my paint doesn't look that bad after almost two years of ownership. Probably it's because of the climate here in Southern California; second, i don't expect my car to look like new in 10 years, LOL

but I do wanna some good waxing and buffing on my baby. I know I can do interior by myself. How much is it if I only wanna exterior detailing then?



on a side note, I drove my friend's BMW 2012 528 loaner for few hours in the past weekend. The handling was too soft and I don't like it at all. That car doesn't have sport package, nor does mine. The sticker price is over $52K! I like our car better now :-)

 

I just called Metro Infiniti this morning. They don't do detailing.

My friend's family has a Lexus GS, and they have it detailed at their Lexus dealership every year. How can Infiniti dealerships don't have detailing service?

 

Have you tried Mission Car Wash on San Gabriel Blvd? If your not looking for paint correction, look at their detail side under the tent not the weekend car wash side.

Can anyone recommend a detailer they have used personally, and are perfectly satisfied with the work.

Hit up Grant @ ENV Auto Detailing in SD. He's done quite of few cars on driver and people have had great results. I am scheduled to pay him a visit early next year. Tell him Jason with the PG sedan sent ya.

Most detailers are mobile nowadays. but I doubt he will travel from San Diego to Pasadena just for my business.

 

I haven't used either but I've seen the results of cars detailed at Faschings Car Wash in Arcadia and Grand Car Wash in Covina and they both looked really well done.

 

I've seen Grant bend over his back to help out other members on the forum. You'd be surprised. You don't have anything to lose just to give him a call or shoot him an email.
