now the question: is carshop any good? any one have any experience with these guys?

 

the reviews on yelp look positive, but it could be from friends of the shop due to the low amount of reviews written by each person

I paid someone $100 to do my 5 windows.

 

california tint alhambra for sure, had my car done twice there already. once when new and then bck for strip/retint after fixit ticket. great work and unbeatable price.

 

i tinted my wife cars at california tint. after 1 year it stared to glaze;(.. not so visable. kinda fuzzy. i took my wife car back to california tint and they told me i must have stray so bad cleaner on the windows... its a 2008 mercedes e class.. and they told me, to fix it it would cost me $80 to remove and re-tint it.. so i left it..told them never mind.. after 6 months later, it got bad.. it was so fuzzy i couldnt see thur it.. this was back in july 2009...i went to (the car shop), so they can fix it. they also charge me $80. And i tell you, my tint on my wifes meredes hasn't never been any clearer.. she told me WOW,, its soo visable... from NOW on i decide to take my cars to THE CAR SHOP.. hope this helps...OH i got my G37 tinted at the car shop.. with 3M color sable 20%... i love it

 

Is California Tint lifetime warranty for the price?



@mphtenk Not sure where you're located... is the car shop in Alhambra? And how long ago was this $80? (it was remove and retint for that price correct?) What's the warranty?

 

My friend works at the car shop. They do a pretty solid job.
