Angry Infiniti of van nuys poor service

Just need to release my frustration.... So I made an appointment at the infiniti of van nuys (miller infiniti) today at 10:30am because the paint on my trunk is fading fast, its gotten so bad that It needs repainting or a new trunk, I talked to tyrone the service manager last week to make the appointment, I even got a call 2 days ago confirming the appointment. So i get there today and tyrone didnt show up for work, and they are backed up badly. I decide to wait as ive waited a week for the appointment. 45 minutes later some lady comes to help me with ATTITUDE, I explain to her how the paint on my trunk is fading badly, and as she looked at the trunk she she says "its becauase your parked under a sprinkler" I told her I park in the garage and never never never leave it by a sprinkler, she states again "nope this is sprinkler damage" I think I would know where I park my car and that is the GARAGE, I have NEVER parked near a sprinkler to touch my car. Then she says with even more attitude that I will need to leave it for 2 days to figure it out and they will need to wash and detail it, My car has just been detailed by myself and it clean as can be, I say no way youre touching my car and she stated that she cant help me, I stated know lots of people complain of the dealer scratching the cars and she tells me that it needs to be detailed by infiniti to solve the problem, Then she asks if im under 22, I say yes, then she gets more angry and says "then how are you planning on leaving here?" After that I was furious and told her that its ok nevermind and left, I have never been given such attitude at a dealer and poor service for a 40k car! I will be driving to riverside or monrovia for future problems.

that sucks! Yeah, Monrovia and Riverside have always been good to me. I've taken it to them for warranty service.

I hope it works out!

+1 on riverside infiniti or you can go to Parkway Infiniti in Valencia, CA and tell them you know the LAGZ and are on the myg37.com forums, that seems to scare them into doing anything and beyond to prevent any negative comments

My car is actuall there right now (Miller Infiniti). Dropped it with Tyrone on Friday and was told that it will be ready by Monday. I have a few issues: my driver's window makes squeaking noise when its wet (rolling up and down) and my seat cushion is rubbing against the center console, making this weird (but very annyoing noise).

Tyrone informed me right away that there is probably nothing they can do with the seat - and its normal after some time the bolsterns on the cushion start to wear off. The rental has 20K miles and does not have any of these issues. My seat cushion was alos replaced a few thousand miles ago due to the seat bubble... and I know that I'm not overweight that would cause these problems.

Well, I called them today to check on the status, Tyrone is out and someone else is handling my car. Still waiting for them to call me back.

Overall, I haven't had the best experience with them - but they are very close to my house. Maybe I'll try Metro Infiniti next as I heard that Glendale isn't that great either.

I think this will be my last Infiniti. I have been with Nissan/Infiniti for the past 4 cars and I'm not too thrilled about their service.

yeah, that works. I've used that line as well when I went to get my battery issue fixed. I didn't pay anything on that service and got a new battery!

Wow, I must be old, my kids are older than you!!!

Seriously, see Mike at T.O. infiniti, explain that other dealers dont take you seriously, and
you want to create a new relationship with them.

Just don't tell them your handle is Doggystyle, then it will be some kind of other relationship!

All salespeople suck.
I bought mine through the Fleet/Internet dept.
I just walked past all the leeches in the front!!
Closed the deal in 10 minutes.

Even the General manager walked out to thank me, as I was ready to pose with my car for the calendar they made me!!

They actually just opened a new dealership in Santa Monica,
I see your in Bev. Hills and thats the closest to us
I went there a couple weeks ago and they seemed to be pretty good
just ask for John in the service department.
This one is closer then the other dealership they had in Santa Monica,
it's on Santa Monica and Centinela
where the Cadalac dealership was

sorry to hear that doggy,
nothing like wasting your time going to the dealer and not have them help you out,
hopefully you got the bitches name
and just go ahead and report her/them
also call Miller and ask for the supevisor, and tell him what happened
