Unhappy Today was my turn, rear ended. Need good body shop in Orange County

I've replied to collision posts, now I writing about mine.
My sedan, with less than 3,000 miles on it, was rear ended while stopped at an intersection. But, good news, the other driver was cool and has insurance, no big damage to the car. She matched her front license plate to my rear at about 5-10 miles an hour. My car was in gear, not sure if that could be damaged. Bumper cover will need to be replaced and painted. Quarter panels, gas tank, pipes etc. look ok at first glance.

I live in the Anaheim Hills area of Orange County, but, will gladly drive a bit for a shop that is highly recommended. I'm most worried about paint match. Please post or PM me your recommendations.

I'm still shaking a bit, way depressed over the thing, and really thankfull for any help you can offer.

^ I'm into my car way more than I should. You know, like the biker that is hit by a truck and only wants to know if his bike is okay? %-) But, thank you for the good point -I'm with you... And I know there are good body shops out there for the car. :-)

Sorry to hear that! I've used a company called Mobile Paint & Dent Repair--714-856-8287. I have used them twice to touch up areas on my car. They come to your home or office and repair it while you're working. They do a really nice job (I know it sounds too good to be true). They don't just use touch up paint--they prep it like in the shop and spray paint it--takes a little time but VERY convenient. They also have a shop in Huntington Beach where they shoot Lambos and Ferrari's. Good luck!

I've had another crash (different car) since I first posted this. Both went to Anaheim Auto Body. I have been *very* happy with them. They do mostly high end cars. Take a look at their facility, talk to Jeremy or John. I think you'll be impressed also. If important to you, they also have AAA permissions. They are located near the 55 and 91 freeways roughly. I did a LOT of research before going with them.
Best, Boomer.

Just got my door and front left fender replaced by Holmes Body Shop in Riverside. They did a good job.

If you want a reputable place, you can ask the dealerships to see what they recommend. That's what I did.

I know what you mean,my wife keeps asking when am I taking her on a honeymoon.(the car)

look on the bright side, it's minor damage most likely cosmetic.

g/l with the repair, just get the best shop money can buy.

as long as you don't have any expenses from it, I think your g will be fine.

Sorry to hear... hope you are alright.

Riverside Infiniti suggested Holmes Autobody just south of the 91, east of McKinnley in Corona. They may be close for you? I checked them out and they have gotten good reviews. If you don't mind the drive to the 91 & 55, I think it would be worth your time to check out Anaheim Hills Auto Body also. They were my choice, but, both are good IMHO.

I did a lot of research. -I had one rearended minor damage G, and one rearended Camry (Daughter's pride and joy car) that was ultimately totaled in the past year. Anaheim Hills, John are Jeremy, were great and were the best choice for what I wanted of all the places I checked out. (I think both accidents were the result of cell phone use.)

IMHO, if you get a good recommendation from a forum member or two, chances are you'll do okay. The guys here have a major amount of combined experiance.
