335i

when i was in the market for a "beater" early this year which i would drive on daily basis rather than putting miles on my beloved S2k

i had to make a decision between 335i and G37S

back then the lease program on bmw was outrageous, monthly payment was about 150 bucks higher on bmw than G37 with similar options.

that is pretty much why i lean towards the G37 and start leasing one

until now i always have regreted about my lease on G37

today i went to pacific bmw with my friend.

he got the 335i coupe with everything but navi(automatic) for 700 down and 580 a months.... i pay 540 for my fully loaded G37

i guess the money factor from bmw is a lot lower than early this year plus it is the end of year.

i drove his car off the lot, man i love this thing, mostly the handling!!!

so selling my G37 at its buy out price is the only way i can get out of my lease???? how does the lease trader deal work out?

You can see if you could find someone to buyout the lease. Or put it up on leasetrader, or swapalease, but Infiniti Financial will not release your name from the lease. So if the person that takes over doesn't make a payment, your credit could suffer.

I was in the same boat too, I had the option of getting a 37 or a 335 sedan. However the sedan was 100 dollars more a month than the G. No regrets either, but when I drive the 335, damn I get a little jealous.

What can be said, German's make enginneering marvels of cars! Just require a little too much maintence. Coming from Audi, I'm all too familiar with the Service reps at West Covina Audi (Penske). But the fact that all maintenance is covered is a good plus, but it's still a bust to turn your car over once a month for some stupid sensor failing and driving their loaners.

I always thing why can i get a 7 series thats 3 years old for 30K when the list 3 years ago was 100K+ (canadian) makes me think either reliability of BMW is bad or maintenance costs are too high

The bimmer FEELS better to drive. The limits of the Bimmer are ultimately lower than that of the G.

Owning a s2k, you should understand that. The Bimmer has a shorter wheelbase and is more responsive to turn-in, but ultimately the G's longer wheelbase gives you more stability.

Oh, and I'll take you up on that offer for pinks. I own the pinks to my cars. Do you?

Lets do a s2k vs s2k race, and then a VR-4 vs G37 race. I could use a few more cars
