Their labor rate is about $100/hr. like most Nissan dealerships. I think (not certain) this job would be charged about 5 hours of labor.

 

I was going to replace it because I hate doing things twice but after talking to Paul he steered me clear. So I bought the AR with the money for the LSD haha. We couldn't get to it this weekend but we are on for next saturday. I'm pumped about it and can't wait to get it done.

They are charging me 4-4.5hrs at $100/hr plus parts. Parts were $800ish and labor is $400-450 so around $1200-1300 total.

 

Cool. Paul is a great guy to deal with even if he does drive an S2K. Lol.

If you find out for certain when you're going to be at the shop, let me know because I may be over there to pick something up on Saturday. This afternoon I dropped off my Top Secret front lip that got damaged to be repaired and painted at their paint and body shop. I'd like to see how it turns out. I'm excited for you. It's making me want to pull the trigger on this more and more.

 

Sure thing. I'm waiting to hear back on the exact time but I'll let ya know. If these 4.08's are anything like the set of 4.10's my buddy installed in his V6 stang it'll be well worth the money.

I'm not doing an LSD anymore. After talking to Paul and since I never track my car the factory one will do just fine. I'm excited. Gonna be a long week of waiting.

 

Just confirmed the appointment. Saturday at 8am!!!! Gonna have them do my pulley's as well. Come on saturday!!

Well good news bad news. Good news is they were able to install my pulleys today. Bad news is the parts department forgot to tell them that the ring and pinion were backordered till September 2nd so ill have to come back on the 3rd to get those. Oh well. At least now ill be able to see the effects of the pulleys by themselves. Paul and Jason have been incredibly generous and nice and actually did the pulleys for free for my troubles.
