I don't know any reason why it isn't. Do you? We passed a number of police and none of them seemed to mind.

I know it required an immense amount of constant focus and concentration unlike normal driving, especially in the hill country. I felt like I'd just finished an endurance race when I got home.

Over 100 degrees. He's pulling me using a lot of gas, getting his transmission hot, no AC, and heater on full blast to keep the car running cool. Sunroof closed so we could hear each other over the walkies.

I have the car running so that I have power steering and the AC blowing snowflakes in my face. I made a 400 mike trip on just over half a tank.

It's gotta be illegal, but maybe not in Texas?? & You gave one reason yourself why it probably isn't legal in your next sentence.

Well if it's not legal here (I really don't know and wasn't very concerned), then the police must be unaware or not concerned about it either because none of them stopped us.

Yeah. I think most cops would look at it as if you were saving them doing paperwork on an abandoned car on the side of the road.

Definitely illegal method of towing, but you got away with it so it doesn't matter.

And to add on what Jeremy stated, we did stop a few times to let Anthony's car (the car doing the towing) cool down and so he could check his coolant.

Here's a few pictures of that.
