Dallas Area Invoice Pricing?
Dallas Area Invoice Pricing?
Dallas area G37 owners, I will be buying my 37S 6MT this week and I wanted to know what kind of deals you are seeing. I see from another thread Sewell is going $500+invoice, give or take. Also, anyone know about dealer "hold back"? I bought an Armada about 3 years ago for the ol' lady and there was a $650 hold back on that car. This was basically another sum of cash the dealer made on the car from the factory. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere so maybe it doesn't exist anymore. Anywho...speak up and let me know who's dealing!
Two weeks ago I flew to Dallas to buy a 2008 g37 from Grubbs Infiniti----I dealt with Joe O'Day who was the perfect person to deal with. Very professional and he picked me up at the airport. They had just the car I wanted and the price was give or take $500 over invoice. The whole experience was great, and I would buy my next Infiniti from Joe in a heart beat---I don't know if "holdback" is still an issue or not but I assume it is with the dealers.
If anything, you shouldn't even bother with Crest Infiniti. Very unprofessional on most accounts and seemed interested in not having my business at all.
I got my G37 6MT from Sewell and I couldn't be happier. I was able to use VPP, but I'm sure with some good bargaining, they will give you about the same price. Problem with them is that their 6MT stock is kind of slim; I had to wait about a month before the color combo I wanted came in (Obsidian Black exterior, black interior). They had a couple non-nav cars there last time I checked in white and graphite, but they got a couple new ones in.
It's always easier to shop at the end of the month also, because they are pushing for those numbers, especially if they are under their goals.
Good luck and let us know how it goes!
