Experience at Clear Lake Infiniti Houston, TX
Experience at Clear Lake Infiniti Houston, TX
I finally picked up my new baby. OB 6MT with Premium, Navigation, Technology, splash guards, and a spoiler. Well, at least that's how I ordered it. I had to order because CLI didn't have the car I wanted in stock. My Sales Rep Dave Ward and Sales Manager Kyle Dang made the process extremely easy. I ordered and put down my deposit near the end of September for October's order. I was told that it would likely be in by the second week in December. It arrived yesterday and I took delivery today.
Dave kept me updated on the progress of the order every step of the way. He called me in and gave me the order sheet. When I checked it, I noticed that it was correct except for one thing - no spoiler was listed. The spoiler was the reason I was willing to wait in the first place (I hate the chrome lip!) So he got together with his manager and they were able to locate a car to my exact specifications that was headed to a Chicago dealer. It was not a customer order so they arranged a trade of my no spoiler car for that one.
I got to the dealership today and they had prepped my car very well. They left the front plate holder off as I'd requested. There was a slight scratch in the clear coat on the front fender (transit damage) but they had someone buff and polish it until I couldn't tell it had ever been there. Then I noticed that something else was different from how I'd ordered the car. He had it tinted 20% all around! And there were wheel locks! And a trunk mat! And a cargo net! And illuminated side sills! That's about $700 worth of freebies on top of a fair price: MSRP $44,045 I paid $41,678. Financed me at 3.9% with no games. He offered me the 84 month 100K mile extended warranty for $75 over cost.
This is one of the best buying experiences I have ever had at a car dealer. No hassle, no waste of time, and I felt like I was very valued and respected. Me and the salesman are actually going to go to a football game together in a few weeks. Clear Lake Infiniti is definitely a buyers paradise and I'd recommend them to anyone interested in an Infiniti.

WOW you REALLY racked up!!! That is sooo awesome!! Ok,mine should be here in a couple of weeks. We have to get together and go for dinner again once I get mine. (we're both married...we met at the dealership with our spouses when we ordered our G's hehe)
BTW, I wanna see your light bulbs in person once you change them. So I can compare. I'll prolly need your help to change mine. Pleeez.
P.S. Stop hating on the chrome junk dammit!!! LOL

I think that might have been because we'd already agreed on price and signed a price sheet and then they had to swap cars in transit because the one they ordered for me was missing the spoiler. I presume they just took a hit on the port accessories that were already on the car. Either way I win and they were really cool about it. That's how you build customers for life.
I hope you make out like a bandit as well.

I'm "familiar" with names and people that you listed above. Another really cool man that you may want to meet is Sam in service Dept. Also, the OD color is still on top of my list. Enjoy your new baby.
