Is there a reason I cannot see the classified postings? I read you can't post in it until 10 posts, but can you not see what's for sale either?

I don't know why you can't. There shouldn't be a condition that prevents viewing the forum.

Are you looking at the private classifieds sub forum? If so, most listing categories are empty except for "Non G Related Items".

You have to have 10 posts on site then wait 48hrs to be able to post classifieds.
