No more deals, finds and bargains?

What happened to the "Great Online Deals, Finds, and Bargains (eBay, Dealer Liquidation, Etc.)" thread in the Classified section?

Would be great to get that back!

This place doesn't get much traffic any more.

Srsly, I just got my G a few months ago. Now the community decides to slow? Go figure.

(J.K., enjoy tuning in daily)

Then again, every screw up, fitment, mod, review, experiment, has been done and it's nice just searching it or doing a "[insert problem] myg37" into Google and getting seven different threads of answers and discussion.

I have to admit, nothing is more of a relief than being set to buy, mod, or do anything, be 99% sure about it, then stumbling upon a thread that saves your butt from a lot of heart ache.

Guys like me appreciate the struggle of others

IMO the community deals/bargains were "re-accommodated" a few years after the R35 was released with the final nail in the coffin being the whole GTM MHI Group Buy debacle.

These days it's either full price, used parts, or maybe Black Friday.

Can you update me please. I'm ignorant to said debacle and like to avoid bad vendors or problematic vendors.

I don't know all of the specifics but I remember hearing about it through a friend of mine with a Z. Something to do with the twin turbo kit.
Found a link and although I haven't read all of the posts, it doesn't end well for GTM

Awesome. I'm all about that drama today.

Really hate having 0 FI choices.....From what I understand, its Stillen, Fast Intentions, and AAM? Not to mention, both TT set-ups are 10K....Hard to swallow when I got the car for 20 lol. I guess nobody told them the market for a G isn't 35K anymore? Good thing the significant other doesn't ask questions lol.

Dayuum, that was a lot of money they missed out on....Basically skip to August 2013 and people start to lose enthusiasm. By December people start pulling out and by April/May of 2014 people are pissed.

I wonder what happened though from GTM's perspective. Things seemed to be going smoothly, then around May/June they rescinded their confidence about the kit being released by July but it was definitely coming; just to never post again. Would have loved to have been a fly on the wall.
