Why do you figure that most choose not to pay? Just wondering...

By the way for the record just because I mention some suggestions does not mean that I don't like it here. Its just constructive criticism....

 

Because something for nothing is what what most people want, just look at the music industry for one of the biggest examples.

The ones that usually anti up for the premier membership either know that they'll get that $50 back many x over in the help received or want to play their part in helping the site succeed/continue.

If you don't pay up it doesn't mean you're not wanted, but being a paying member of the site is a nice gesture and is appreciated

 

I always got the impression this site ha(d/s) somewhat more mature members (albeit this appears to be changing). I can see perhaps listing major mods in the sig. But don't get the point in detailing every single little change.

On some sites, signatures are only shown once per page per user. That is they're shown only in the first post by a particular user per page. If that user posts another reply visible on the same page, the software hides the sig.

 

Ummm kennyz424 has the longest signature. Just saying....

 

Because the vast majority of people won't/don't pay for something they can have for free, even if they derive great value from it. Can't afford it? In the habit of taking things without paying? Don't see the value or need? There are many reasons why people do what they do. It doesn't really matter to me, they can pay or not pay. My salary stays the same. What's your reason for choosing not to pay?

It might have been your intent, but I found nothing about your criticism constructive whatsoever. To me it seemed quite the contrary. But I'm glad that you do like it here. Your suggestions have been noted. Thanks for your input to make the forum better.
