Anyone walk me through creating an avatar? I have used many forums but this set up is awful. Nothing is easy to find, etc... Anyway if someone can help me load an avatar that would be great.

You don't "pay for a little pic"

It's just one of the incentives to get a premier membership

 

This is true, but, if you're someone that has no interest in everything else that a premier membership offers, that's what it seems/feels like.

\/ Edit: I don't feel like making another new post here so I'll just add that most of the relevant "info" on this site is already available to regular members... for instance, the un-revelant info includes "pornographic" type threads/posts that aren't allowed on the rest of this site.

I fully understand the site needs to make $$ to operate. I just don't think that its worth $30 for me when all I am going to use from the deal is an avatar...

Also, its not that the information was not presented in an easy to find manner, I just never looked. I work 70hrs a week and figured it would be easier for one of you to tell me rather than search the forum.
