I think it would be pretty cool to have a similar idea as facebook, where users can chat with each other....I think that would maybe help a lot in situations when someone has car troubles, or question on DIY....just to throw it out there if it hasn't been brought up yet...

 

i hear what your saying, but its pretty much the same concept as the forums. You got a question or an issue...you post,and heaven forbid in this age of instant gratification that you have to wait.I really liike the idea of the forums cuz there isn't alot of he said she said,friend de-friend bs!

 

yeah i understand...maybe because I sit at work all day so i'm always on the forums lol

 

Having issue lately when I tried to install the driving light bulb going thru wheel well.. The plastic was really hard to pull off which covers the wiring..And I ended up dropping the bulb to the inner side of the bumper and one direct in the headlight..not sure if I can ever get them back...sigh..just want to share my little frustration..

Well there's always the chit-chat thread that you can check out, I think this has been suggested before, I think it might slow the site down bigtime but I'm not 100% on it

I think having "chat" wouldn't necessarily hurt the site. The only thing it would limit is PM'n, but obviously would up the #'s of people's friends lists. The amt of posts I believe would still be just as good.

 

I wouldnt mind one of these, it helps kill my day at work.

 

this would be a cool idea. a lot more convenient than private messaging back and forth lol.
