Let's back off of the T-shirts for now and get some designs for the sticker done. I was going to produce the sticker just like the forum logo but members wanted to have a say in designing one they like better. So far we've gotten 2. If everyone is in love with one of those we'll go with it. If not, then let's get some more submissions.

 

This. I'd do a sticker... As long as it's not too big. I like the logo of the forum. Would it be exactly the same? Would it say Infiniti G37 Discussion Forums as the one at the top of the page or just MYG37.COM?

But we scrapped that idea to let the forum members have their say in the matter. Whatever the design, it will be a small quarter window sticker. Maybe 6"-8" long or so.

 

Oh, my bad... I've been on vacation for about a week, so I missed a lot of posts.

Cool. I look forward to the final product. I hope it's not too complicated. Something simple, like the forum logo, would be perfect.

2 member posted in this thread that they'd like for the design to be something submitted by members. The decision was made to change from simply using the forum logo to opening it up to submissions by members because that's what was asked for. Neither member who suggested that member designs be selected have submitted any design at all.

Was this a good idea to listen to the members' suggestions, or should we just run with the original idea of making it like the forum logo?

 

how about have 2 options:

same as the forum logo for people with coupes and how about just the MYG37.com without the silhoutte for people with sedans?

 

There's only going to be one design. Branding.

And its easier for me and less upfront costs out of my pocket.

I guess it was foolish of me to presume that the members who lobbied for the design to be changed from the way it had been decided would follow the thread and actually give some input on the change requested. My bad.
