Mod's...

I am not quite sure why "ZEZUZ-G's" thread was closed... He stated an opinion and people were then voicing theirs(If it was in the wrong topic section, then i understand...but it can be moved rather than closed)... Is that not the point of an OPEN forum??? Also the 360 forged threads that keep getting closed...

There are paying customers that have gotten screwed by that company and have a right to voice their opinion...I dont think i am getting this whole thing... So now in an otherwise OPEN forum there are rules about what you are and are not allowed to talk about?

I think mod's are getting a little "Close" happy.. Is there someone who moderates the moderators??

I think that would be a SUPER Mod. Actually I wondered the same thing. Not only closed in 13 minutes, but without comment or reason. Seemed odd, but I moved on. It seems that closing it just spawned 4 or 5 more related threads so not sure what it accomplished.

Here is one I think the OP is referring to. https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-cou...preciated.html.

It was closed and then reopened.

I closed it because you all know where it's going to head. I then reopened it because I received a PM from the OP and I figured it may have been premature. We shall see....

Sorry, not sure what you are asking. I gave the link above to the one I saw closed and then opened. Then I saw more threads on 360. I really don't care if you close, open, reclose. Search is your friend..... j/k .....couldn't help it.

See that's what i mean... Why are you able to close a thread just because "you all know where it is going"...

If people want to post until they are blue in the face about the stupidist things in the world, what gives you control over that? If it is in the wrong section, understood, if there are rules broken, also understood.. But if you just think that it is a pointless thread you get to close it...Someone make me a Moderator!!

And with the 360 forged ones.. This website is SPECIFICALLY for sharing information on our car, parts for our car, companies that make parts for our car etc... Take "master fail" as an example.. Those threads arent getting closed, in fact MOD's are participating in the bashing of them on a daily basis...

i just think you mod's need to take it easy with the close buttom.

As I see it, what gives them the right is that they were chosen for that specific purpose. I agree that it seems random or arbitrary or inconsistent sometimes, but you must consider that we are dealing with several distinct personalities and what each person will or won't allow will vary somewhat. There are a number of threads I would have closed and some I would have left open because we all view things different. I believe that our staff at least is trying to keep the community in some form of order and not let the chaos of idiots rule and spoil everything for everyone else.
