New Nissan 4.08 ring & pinion gear set (final drive)

Category: Engine - Power Adders
Price: $500
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Coupe, 2010+ G37 Sedan, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe, 2008-2009 G37 Sedan, Other Model G's
Location (State/Prov): FL
Item Condition: Brand New

Selling my new-in-box Nissan 4.08 ring & pinion gear set. Never installed, was planning to but had a change of plans and will be engine swapping my car so I don’t have a need for these anymore. Great for anyone planning to keep their G naturally aspirated. My loss is your gain.

$500 including insured shipping (within the continental US)
No offers please

*Mods if this needs to be in the OEM parts category, my mistake - no more drivetrain category so I put it here*

Totally fair, IMO. $500 including shipping for something new in the box that goes for $600.

Strange how this isn't getting snapped up. Then again, short diff gears aren't a common mod on the G. Totally worth every penny, just not common.

If I had the money for it right now, I would ****** it up because this is 100% a mod I plan on doing.

Have you considered selling this on the Z forums? Might be more of a receptive audience over there for this kind of modification.

Indeed I do! Appreciate you for looking out for my best interests regardless, thanks Rochester.

I know you can find this set for $600 new online but that’s before tax and sometimes doesn’t include shipping, a little surprised no one has jumped on this yet.

Economy is bad right now and people aren't spending as much, plus it's going into fall/winter season. Those are my reasons at least

Your own experiences aside, the US economy is performing much better than expectations, and consumer spending is up. However, it will be Fall soon, and then Winter, that's true.

Just buy the freaking gears. Jump in, man. Both feet.

At this point if they don’t sell in a few weeks I might as well run ‘em when I pull my pumpkin for the Wavetrac until I drop in an LS3

Yep, no interest, so might as well try them out in my car! Closing thread/marking as sold.

If my plans change again in the future or I end up removing the 4.08 gears, I'll re-open this FS thread.
