I'm guessing here... M370 or Shockwave?

That's fantastic. Very exciting stuff. What's different between the Shockwave and the Ark Grip?
When do you anticipate the install?

Hemholtz resonators are different in size, Motordyne starts at 3'' and tapers to 2.5''. ARK is 2.5'' throughout. Motordyne utilizes a resonated X opposed to ARK which uses a traditional X.
They are doing 2 day shipping so maybe this weekend! They had 1 left in stock so I had to jump on it. If it gets here Monday, I may get inpatient and drop the car off at shop to have them do the swap. We'll see, I usually like doing these type of installs myself as I will be extra careful with handling of the components.
I will 100% be getting an exhaust clip of this. Past exhaust setups, I was less than enthusiastic recording because I thought the noise paled in comparison to the other brands.

I'd say a little lower, I may raise it up pending feedback from current motordyne owners. I really don't want to damage the muffler since i's $315 for a replacement. Also, I talked to Tony and he mentioned they sourced a new muffler in the last 6 months. Previously, there were owners complaining about weld defects and I had to ask before I threw down some serious coin.

What kind of tips are on the Shockwave for the Sedan?
Years ago, I really, really wanted the Ark Grip, but one of the things that turned me off were the tips, and it would have been yet another project to replace them. Whereas the Sebring Tuning tips on FI exhausts are top shelf.

- 4.5'' Rolled
- 4.5'' Single Cut
- 5'' Rolled
- 5'' Single Cut
Then, you can grab them in the burnt appearance or plain stainless. I decided to go with 5'' rolled because they were out of stock on the 4.5''. I plan on getting the Carbon Signal rear diffuser in the near future and feel the 5'' tips will help fill the gaps. However, the sales representative at Motordyne told me she would give me a discount on the 4.5'' tips If I changed my mind. I could sell the 5'' tips pretty easily I feel. Hell, I already a local buyer for the Stllen lined up and it's not even off of my car!
I also wanted to comment on my experience with Motordyne as I've heard mixed stuff about them. They were very professional, kind, and patient with me while asking a ton of questions. I ordered around lunch time and the exhaust shipped out around 4PM that day.
I agree with you Rochester, the FI has the crown for the best looking tips/cans on the market. I thought about FI, but ultimately it would be only for aesthetic reasons.

5" is huge! But at least they're rolled, and yes they'll probably look more appropriate when you add more elements to the rear like a diffuser.
Sell them...? Are they clamp-ons?

They had one system in stock that was just made. It looks to be clamp-on which I am not a fan of. I actually don't like the muffler-less look from the rear either. But, like you've mentioned before, you compromise somewhere with every exhaust on the market for our platform. There isn't an exhaust that ticks all the boxes for me. But, the motordyne system ticks the most.

I owned these WORK VSKF's for about 48 hours. They were 19x10 + 12, but needed a 25MM spacer up front. The rear was 19x11 + 12. I bought them Friday, soldl them sunday morning. I wish I could make it work but I would need way too much camber and stretch to make it work up front.
