TWM short shifter - $225

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $225
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Coupe, 2010+ G37 Sedan, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe, 2008-2009 G37 Sedan, Other Model G's
Location (State/Prov): TX
Item Condition: Used

I have a TWM short shifter waiting for a new home atop someone's 6MT. It is slightly used for a couple thousand miles at most. I installed it and personally didn't like the feel of it with my lighter flywheel and aftermarket clutch. The shifter itself is in perfect condition mechanically and cosmetically. The install is fairly straightforward and on the easy side if you are a person who has any business working on your own car. Want to pay TWM $337.90? for one? Fantastic! Want to save yourself $112.90 to spend on something else? Buy mine for $225 shipped! Price includes insured shipping. I'll even throw in a pair of myg37.com window decals in your choice of color (so long as you choose blue or white ) to sweeten the deal.

Look at my iTrader feedback and buy with confidence. I accept PayPal, cash, or money orders.

bump for a great guy and good product.

I have had 2 different short shifters

1) B&M - had a very bad vibration/noise and I did not like it. You also have to modify your car to fit it, even though its not hard. Moved on to TWM

2) TWM was noticeably better, to me, than the B&M. Shifts were buttery smooth and locked into place with an audible kind of click and the feel as well. You have to be careful you do not over-torque the bolt underneath the car because it will make the shifter very notchy and hard to shift smooth. So, proper torque and its an awesome product. Also, it is very short if you run an ARC style round ****. OEM is perfect height.

It's hard for me to accurately describe because it's subjective. I just prefer the "feel" of the OEM one better. The TWM unit does have shorter, more direct and precise shifts. It does have a little bit of added vibration, but so does the OEM one in our cars. I suppose I had gotten very used to the longer throws of the OEM and just liked the way I was used to the shifter feeling than the newer shorter throws.
