FOR SALE: Gently used set of OEM JDM retrofitted sedan taillights (purchased in Feb 2024).

These look amazing and I get many compliments. The only reason I am selling is because I have a more custom set of tails now.

I purchased these from eBay, eBay Link. They are supposed to be modified OEM JDM taillights, and they did ship from Japan. They certainly look like OEM housings, so I will take the sellers word for it that they are JDM.

Included:

• Modified taillights
• Diode Dynamics tail as turn modules. This makes it so the rings blink instead of the solid middle part (see eBay listing video to see how they work without the modules).

Not included:

• The LED reverse lights are not included (I am keeping them).

Just curious are these plug and play with the OEM wiring harness or is there splicing involved?

 

No splicing. They plug in just like OEM. However, the tail as turn modules are plugged into them. You simply plug the car into the other end of the module.

 

The tail as turn can be removed so the center is the turn signal?

The tail as turn can be unplugged and the center part will then light up when the turn signals come on (like the video on eBay).

What's the reason for selling? Are the rings not bright enough to serve as brake lights during a bright sunny day?

 

They are great! Def bright enough. I just now have a more custom set of taillights.
