I got this idea from people who would put straws on their drain plugs to route water further out to prevent leaks. The problem with straws is that they deteriorate.

I didn't want to reroute to the ac drain line because it introduces more failure points and if it clogs (not likely tbh) it's a pain to fix it. I prefer either to utilize the current drain holes.

I used some pvc pipe to extend the water line and made a diagonal cut so water doesnt go near the hole.
