This is my Z1 Motorsports polyurethane transmission mount. It was bought new and installed in May 2016. So yes, it's 8 years old, but that's only 24,000 miles, the car is garage kept, and it's solid aluminum with a poly insert, so it's in fine condition. Back in 2016, I was very gung ho about the NVH. It felt awesome, and changed the character of my humble little 6MT into racecar. Here's the thread from back then:

Since then, the years passed, other modifications were applied, and I personally aged. So a few years ago I started thinking maybe I would like to go back to stock. Here's that thread:

Finally, last week I had the shop swap the mounts... which is a really easy job. On the lift for 30 minutes tops. Raise the car, remove the subframe connector, support the transmission with a tall floor jack, and do the swap. I'm glad I did it, the cabin is less growly, and the overall NVH has been noticeably reduced. As happy as I was introducing the NVH eight years ago, the time was right to back off some.
