Not looking for a huge spoiler more of a duck bill to go flush with the back up camera. Is there anyway to replace the stock bit of chrome spoiler where the camera and truck release sit with a better duck bill?
You can get the OEM spoiler from the dealer or Infiniti online shops such as discountinfinitiparts.com If they have your color in stock it's a pretty simple install and the paint will be a factory match and fit.
Curious to know what other members think about this:
Since the G35 coupe came out, I've considered the OEM rear spoiler to be a signature design feature for Infiniti. Not on a Porsche Whaletail level, but to me the "ironing board" wing is a defining trait for Infiniti; most of the exterior designs are curvy and rounded, but the spoilers are straight and relatively square. Normally I'd call it an incompatibility, but I've come to embrace it as a quirky design that works mostly out of uniqueness.
I was expecting that spoiler when I bought my car. Of course, I didn't do any research before walking into the show room. I was disappointed the V36 had a different spoiler. I bought it anyway as I hate that chrome duckbill.
How was the alignment of the trunk release button and camera?
The alignment of the holes is fine, but the shape of the cutouts is really crap. I wrapped the exposed chrome bits on the stock trunk lip thing black so its not as noticeable.
The link above is the carbon duck bill wing i bought pretty much like iCrap's. I have a picture of how the cut out is for the button and camera. I like mine a lot, especially since the previous owner of my car painted the chrome piece and it started to flake, and this spoiler covered it up perfectly.

Thanks guys. The pictures really help. I've been bored with car and want to do something inexpensive to keep it interesting.
