On a serious note have you thought about doing a coilover setup that would allow you to raise the car in the winter? Personally I've lowered all of my cars. I try to maintain the ride quality but lowering the center of gravity accentuates the sporty nature of the car and improves stability overall IMO (if done properly). Lowering on the IPLs with that lip =

Well, I like a combination of form AND function. Many people hear lowered and think of this (Not Mine, though it is nice):
which, while nice to see at a show is a PAIN to drive. I carry a car full of adults regularly so I'm careful about how I lower and even the offset of my wheels. I don't want to worry about constantly scraping the frame, etc. There are a lot of options. But that's what makes the car culture what it is. Everyone has options and in the end its all about making yourself turn back and look at it as you walk away as well as enjoying the drive.

Lowered that low is a NOGO for me haha, but sure a little lowered doesn't look bad. The offset from the IPL wheels was a bit different from the stock 18's but compatible.
lol I daily drive my car even in the winter/snow, I'm lowered pretty good. Granted we didn't get much snow this season in the D.C. area but last year we got a good amount and I had no problems.
Very nice! And your front lip can double as a snow plow for your driveway.
At the moment I'm Running Konig oversteer 19's 8.5 +35 up front with 235/40's i think you could safely run a 9.5 +35 if anyone is looking for more aggressive fitment
9.5 +40 rear 255/35's in the rear but plan on ending with
265/35 on the rear after trial and error I found that on this wheel and offset a 265/35/19 fits perfect

245/40 up front and 265/40 or 275/40 on the rear 35 profile is to small for 19's giving the cars awkward wheel gap in my opinion
As you go up in width, you need to decrease the aspect ratio to get the same overall diameter. A 245/40 tire will be almost the same diameter as a 275/35 so you'll have the same amount of sidewall. Variance that is too much between front and rear tires could cause the VDC to kick in or AWD if so equipped.
