unless you just set one of your memory settings to do that, and hit the memory button every time
The memory key will do that but only when you go into your car not when shut down the engine.
ex: after you get out of your car and lock the door, then when you want to get back in just hit the memory key and then the steering and seat will go back to where you set it.
This feature is available for the G37 Coupe which is why its in the owners manual under "auto entry/exit" feature. I dont know if its standard or not. However, I cannot seem to get it setup after following manual to the word. quick check of other forums for nissans, etc. shows that many people have prob with setting it and had to take it to the dealer. If anyone knows how, let me know. Its very diff to slide in and out w/way I have wheel and seat setup while driving.
Yeah, just found out they apparently disabled it after the first few "batches" of 37s were distributed (out of fear for rear occupant's legs being crushed when seat sliding back). Solution would be for seat to move backward, then move foward a few inches when it senses contact with an object in the rear, then move back again.
Of course I learned this after spending 1.5 hrs in the car trying to activate (in 100 deg weather). Oh well.
Youre right. I went back and read manually (closely) and it refers to "sedan models only". Just assumed option was available b/c its actually on my "comfort/convenience" settings menu which they apparently forgot to delete.
lol, you guys think the dealership will really do this? or maybe I should ask, can they really do it? I don't see many computer programmers walking around dealerships waiting to program/re-program cars to customer likings!!!! LOL come on .....
