The points/license are included. Has 225 flash points on it. All that should be needed is Eugenes labor for tuning itself.

So you used this prior? I'm not sure I understand how the points work against the license. Normally with a license, once its used, it can not be used again.

I can call Eugene this week.

The only thing you need to buy is Eugenes time. The points/license are already on this.

I meant in general with ecutek

I thought it was just buy the kit, the license, and get a tuner to tune it and you're all set. Didn't know you had to pay for points on top of it.

Ohhhh. As far as I know, the point and license are the same thing. It just "costs" a different amount of points depending on the vehicle.

@Misa

If I go here and click the different options: https://vq37tt.com/products/ecutek-e...ally-aspirated

It appears that the 3 components cost as follows through Eugene:

BT Unit: $280
DESKEY: $170
ECUTEK Flash License: $315

Does that look right?

Where I get a little confused is if you still have the car and running the tune, the license stays with you correct? OR, did you buy enough points to license your car and one other?

No the points stay on the car. You can flash multiple different vehicles as long as you have the points for them.
