Stock Sedan Muffler flanges PICS INSIDE

I recently unbolted the stock mufflers to see if I wanted to do a permanent muffler delete. I did a quick drive around and I like it, but want to drive it without mufflers for a week or two to really get a feel for them.

Anyone want to sell me just the mounting flanges (cut right behind the mufflers at the weld) and ship them to me? I just don’t like the way the mid pipe is pointed up towards the car without the mufflers bolted up.

Here’s a pic of what I mean:

Keep in mind it will be much quieter and have less drone if you get it all the way out the back…currently you will probably have a lot of resonance.

In all honesty, it’s not anywhere near as loud as I thought. From listening to others videos, I was reluctant to do anything to the exhaust, but it’s very calm and mellow compared to the loud vehicles I’ve had in my past. My previous DD was a 2004 Duramax Suburban with a 4” exhaust on it.

I agree though, I feel like if I got the exhaust routed back and out, it would be even better and enjoyable.

WTB delete pipes

My test run without mufflers was a success. I think I’m going to pull the trigger on some delete pipes.

Before I do, anyone have some used ones for sale??
