So, not trying to beat you up on this but since my car is rwd, sport and manual i will need a completely different tune apparently. I'd offer $500 in light of that no more, and no worries if you're not interested.
Thanks
Thanks
thanks for the offer and no problem with it! I will hold off for now but I do appreciate it.
There are 3 cost components to an EcuTek tune:
1. Hardware (dongle, cable, USB key)
2. EcuTek license for the car
3. Tune
Since the Bluetooth kit retails for $450, are you saying SpecialtyZ sells their off-the-shelf tune and an EcuTek license bundled together for $350? That seems pretty generous of them, but in light of re-using an off-the-shelf tune... maybe. I mean, you can ask any price you want for anything, that's your prerogative. But in the interest of accuracy, are you 100% that this kit includes Points for the license as well as off-the-shelf tune files?
OP, I will certainly clean this up if I'm mistaken. But it reads somewhat confusing, so I'm asking for clarification that you're actually selling what you think you're selling.

Emailing with Seb, I can confirm he charges $850 for his OTS Ecutek package(Bluetooth dongle, desk key, and license) and an OTS map.
For $200 more you can go custom etune bringing you to the industry average of $1050-$1100 OTD.

OP... GLWS.
Also to help the OP's potential buyers, if you buy this package and want/need a different OTS map from Seb, it'll be $400. Alternatively, you could do custom remote tune for $450, no brainier there.

Sorry if I am not explaining things clearly, I have given all of the info that I have from the kit. I posted a picture of the invoice, it was $800 from Seb @ Specialty Z. I NEVER used any of this, so it's still all brand new. IF you have the same car as I had and stillen intake and ark catback exhaust, this off-the-shelf tune should be perfect for you.
I am just trying to sell the set that I cannot use and recoup some of the costs, so I put it at $700 thinking that was reasonable for someone who it will work for. If not, I am open to reasonable offers.

This is just a single map right?
Does this remap the transmission as well?
And does this have any effect on the VDC/yaw sensor?
“You are selling the EcuTek kit correct? If you did not use it then you are good to resell with the license/flash points.
It includes multiple maps, not just one.
It modifies the firmness of the shifting of the transmission.
No, it does not affect/adjust the VDC/Yaw sensor.”
