I have a used uprev cable with license. I just bought this on here but I'm probably getting rid of my car soon so no point in using this. I hooked it up to the car just to check the license was for sure on the cable and it is. All you need to tune is to take the cable to a shop that has the uprev tuning program licenses or buy the tuning add on license yourself which is around $300 I think. The uprev website has all the programs and Roms to download for free so if you buy the license you can tune yourself. Anyways. I paid $450 shipped so I'm just trying to get that back or obo.

 

is this the standard or tuner version?

This is only the cable and the cable license. The standard or tuner license depends on what you decide when you take it to a shop or if you want to tune it yourself.

A tuner add on license. Or take it to a tuner who has the licenses already

 

So I'm interested in this but I'm a little bit confused.

If I take this to a professional shop for a tune, how much estimated would that cost?

Alternatively if I go to uprev directly for their Base tune + 3 etunes to do the ECU flash myself it's $250. $250 + $350 (your asking price) puts the total at $600. The standard kit directly from uprev new includes the cable, license and base tune + 3 etunes is $550, $50 cheaper than if I buy your cable.

I want to tune my car, but I've been hesitant because of the cost of the tune and cable. So if you're offer here can save me money, I'm interested.
