If I wasn't 100% sure about this venture, I wouldn't be doing it. Figured eventually they would go, but definitely not this soon. However, I may have the Datsun of my dreams also coming my way, so....big things in 2017!!

Gayle - Was it a challenge to mount that?

It's very tempting, but I'd like to avoid any surprises...lol

A slight challenge, yes. I would recommend having an extra set of hands to help hold back the tabs as you work your way around so they don't bend back into place. I did find that using a trim removal set did help

i absolutely love it when idiots say things like that. "$250 for a cap!" and laugh.

when in reality we are the ones laughing because we know how rare it is and coveted by people who value our cars heritage/history.

people like him just show their true ignorance and even more perfect justice is when it sells immediately after at that price. LOL. GLWS on the airbag. I bought the rough textured one they posted but liked the smooth look better. Just can't swing both at the moment.

Pipe down bud. Was just stating my opinion. My post does not make me ignorant or an idiot. Rarity does not always justify value. We are talking about a $20 piece, with literally just a different sticker.. I bet if we were to take a poll to see how many people would be willing to pay this much for a cap, the results would be in accordance with my post. That would make everyone else an idiot too?

Nobody wants your opinion first of all. especially on this thread where you have no idea what you're talking about. there are enthusiasts that just like to turn a key and drive. those people are fine and no problems.

there are people like me, Kenny, gayle, vivid, etc who are JDM enthusiasts and know the value of things such as what is posted. it's not a "cap with a sticker...." I can see how someone IGNORANT to what the cap is, where it came from, and how impossible it is to find again would not find value in that. but to a select group of JDM enthusiasts it is absolutely worth the price as evidenced by the fact it was sold quickly.

taking a poll is stupid. the vast majority of Infiniti/Nissan owners have never heard of Tommy Kaira or seen a single piece. and that is fine. but to bash a for sale thread that is a very appropriately priced item because you are too IGNORANT to know the value of something makes you an idiot.

carry on.

I am 100% sure that I could've gotten more for it. I didn't buy it to turn a profit. And ANYONE who knows what I went through and how much I spent to get it, knows how much I lost. At the end of the day, any true enthusiast wants their JDM pieces to go to someone who will appreciate them. I believe this one did. And I hope the next one..and the one after that, does as well.

Oh and RARITY DOES JUSTIFY VALUE! Sometimes, that's what sets your car apart from the rest of the G's, Z's and in my case, EX's! How many EX's can you say have been equipped with the parts I have/have had?!!! Google it.....I'll wait!
