Looking to buy a square set of G37 IPL 19" wheels for my Q50, not sure if its a thing but i need a square set!

I think you'll have better luck buying 2 sets of IPL wheels and trying to sell a set. Maybe our craigslist expert, Venom, can give you a hand with the search!

 

They absolutely don't come square. Maybe you're lucky and find 2 ppl both selling 2 rears or fronts

 

I already tried telling him there's no such thing as a square setup of ipl wheels ...

 

Are you wanting all fronts or all rears?
If you go the buy-2-sets route and plan on selling one...I would sell the all rears as that would be more appealing to folks.
In all honesty though, it may be more of a hassle than it's worth as the .5in width and +4 stance difference really isn't going to mess with the car...you can run 245/40 all around all day without issue.
I think I found about 3 sets on CL..haven't checked CAN though.

I Ran the staggered 18" Sport rims on my 08 G35 AWD sedan and it gave me troubles, switched back to square and the problems went away. Since then I've avoided Staggered on AWD thats why I'm in search of a square set.

 

Again, all 4 fronts or rears?
Did you run a staggered tire too...wrong sizing will be the main factor in troubles.

 

if its the fronts that are 8.5 then its fronts that I'm looking for since i guess id just keep it same size as the wheels i have on my Q50 currently.
Yeah i ran staggered tire as well, i ran the OEM specs. - Front - 7.5" x 18" 225/50R18 - Rear - 8.5" x 18" 245/45R18

 

Double check but it dont tbink the ipl rear clears the front caliper hence +43 fr offsett vs +45 rear

 

Right now my Q50 has 50mm offset i believe and its super close to the caliper.

IF they don't clear i guess id need spacers? might be a stupid question... super noob over here.

 

what do you guys think about Staggered wheels with square tires? Im assuming it effects the rolling diameter?

 

Every single wheel is different just because a 50mm wheel clears doesnt mean a 45mm wheel will clear. Each wheel has different faces and spokes. No guarentee to fit unless tried on. In the event they dont spacers can be used but like i said every wheel is different even if specs are the same the face and spokes may not clear the caliper

 

I have the IPL wheels with 245/40 and 275/35 but these are the only set of rims I have currently. I would decide to sell if the price is right. Tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sports, 70%+ tread left.

 

What price is "right" to you?

 

Guess I'm going to give up on the thought of these and hunt for a set of square G37 coupe wheels!
