Part fits: 2010+ G37 Coupe, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe
Location (State/Prov): NC
Item Condition: Brand New

Exhaust was just sold this weekend. Thx to all inquiries.

Folks

I wanted to change the volume of my 2011 G37 Coupe's exhaust and was hoping the Megan Racing axle-back would do the trick. It certainly did change it, the sound is very nice, but I was hoping for something different. Maybe its me being a 52-year old who is now very peculiar on what I was looking for (.vs. being younger and not caring).

So if interested in this, the exhaust was only on my car for 1 week and I've since swapped it back to stock. Its now up for sale. I paid $420.75 (see below).

I'd like to get as much back as possible b/c its literally brand new. I'm hoping for $385. On top of this, I'd be willing to help you install it if you'd like. Normal shops may change 0.5-1.0 hours of labor. I'll be glad to help you put it on.

If interested, please IM me. I live in Cary, NC (near Raleigh). Just let me know.

Are the diameter of the tips bigger than stock?
and what did not like about the sound? too loud?

The tips are, IIRC 4.5" which is 1/2" larger than stock. The exhaust is a piece of art. Its stunning how well built it is. Stainless steel shine all over it.

As for the sound, all I was looking for was to turn up the volume on the G37 exhaust. The sound is described as a more deeper tone where it sounds impressive and more "throaty". I love the sound, but I was hoping to keep the OEM G37 "refined" exhaust note, instead this is more of a deeper, mellower and aggressive exhaust note (if that makes sense). All of the videos I listened to sound great, but was hoping to keep the stock sound but just turn the volume up 2-3 notches.

Hope this helps.

have you decided which exhaust you will get? If you want stock sound with higher volume I think the infiniti accessory sport muffler is great. I have it and its the stock sound just 5 notch higher.

Have not yet decided on my next exhaust, but will DEFINITELY hear the Sport muffler first before I buy it. I've read that its actually quieter on some, louder on others. So not sure what to believe.

But this Megan is still for sale

Im looking for something that will amplify the stock sound as well. I will likely go with FI RHfc first and then maybe topspeed axel back. Im not looking for a super loud exhaust for my coupe. Also the sport acc muffler seems kinda pricey imo.

Did you have any installation issues? I hear the Megan axle back doesn't line up with the oem bolts

This is an exhaust that is not loud and flies under the radar. However it comes alive when you jump on it. It does amplify the stock sound a bit but it's not obnoxious in any way.

Let me know if interested. This thing is a piece of art. Very well made!

Note. There is no issue with fitment. It is a perfect fit with no alignment issues with the bolts or the hangers.

Also note that it's actually 5 lbs lighter than oem. 22lbs vs 27lbs

Do you have a sound clip by chance?
I have a sport and would like something with a bit more rumble, but definitely want to stay subtle as this is a dd.
