I'm running a squared set up.
The tires are original to a 2013 convertible. I bought them with the original wheels (27mm rear offset) and ran them on my G37x sedan for less than 50 miles. The rear protrusion wasn't for me. The tires have no issues as they were mounted and driven on my car (no side bubbles or other issues not noticeable with out air in the tires).
BTW, according to Tirerack, the 245/45s can me mounted on wheels ranging in width from 7.5" to 9"; and the 225/50s can be mounted on wheels ranging in width from 6" to 8".
Thanks
