Sorry I'm new in the tuning field.

If I buy this and go to have it dyno tuned is it cheaper than paying someone else? Also to go back to stock I use this cable? Why is the tuner version special?

Can I resell after tune? It retains the license once pulled off the ecu?

Thanks

Currently, tuner version brand new is worth $750.

$549 shipped/Paypaled.
Try "the370Z.com" also
Had many more bites, sold mine there.

Well this is cheaper bec. This price is just a price of the standard version.
The tuner version means you have access to the tune and can modify on your own if you become interested with tuning.

When you go to someone else you pay for one license and the tune. You basically do not have a cable which is worth $250. With this price, you already have a cable plus a license were you can resell it both when you decided to remove the tune.

Okay so from my understanding as long as the license is unmarried from the ecu and back on the cable, it can be repaired with any car correct?

Yes, any car that is supported by Uprev matrix table.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...d=0&output=pdf

If your car ECU is not supported, you have to pay an extra $200 for Uprev to do a ROM Dump ( crack your ECU so it can be tuned by Uprev software)

Yes. In order to get the ECU# you need to call Nissan or Infiniti parts dept. and give them your VIN# this way they can give you the exact ECU # of your car. Cross reference this ECU # with the Uprev supported ECU matrix.

Whatever car you see on that Uprev matrix table , the Uprev cable is compatible and license is compatible.

Hint:
If you go to a tuner, UpRev does not charge them to crack your ROM.

My tuner dumped my new ROM (dealer ref-lash) (after I recovered the license to my cable.) UpRev cracked it for him. Then tuner used MY cable and license to do his thing.

Thats the plus to having your own license and cable.

Free bump

Yeah, it is worth having a tuner version and a cable.

This is just the hardware . All software can be downloaded from Uprev website.
They also have user guide that you can read. For the buyer, I can include the Base Rom file and backto stock file if your car is supported.

If you do not have backgound in tuning, I highly recommend to have a tuner tune your car and learn it from him. It is not safe if you do it alone....

The new version, you can separate the OBD2 head part of the USB from the main USB cable itself.
