Complete set of 4 original 19" Potenza tires - low miles

Category: Wheels & Tires
Price: $500
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Coupe, 2010+ G37 Sedan, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe, 2008-2009 G37 Sedan, Other Model G's
Location (State/Prov): NY
Item Condition: Used
Tire/Wheel Type: 19

I am selling a set of staggered width 19" tires that were removed from a 2008 Infiniti G37 during the first year. I had to put all-seasons on my wheels for the first the winter since I live in an area the sees pretty heavy snow. These tires never went back onto the car.

Plenty of tread left. Would be great for someone looking to get a couple years out of a used set of tires.

This sale is for rubber tires only.

2 front tires were used on 8.5" wheels: Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 225/45/19 92W. UTQG 140AA
2 rear tires were used on 9" wheels: Bridgestone Potenza RE050A 245/40/19 94W. UTQG 140AA

These tires are currently selling on Tire rack for $277 each for the front and $328 each for the rear. Total price for the set is $1210 plus shipping. I am asking $500 picked up in Syracuse, NY or I will consider shipping.

Front: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....m=245WR9RE050A
Rear: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....=44YR9RE050AV5

SOLD

If these tires have 10,000 miles on them already, it is physically impossible for them to last another year.

Please post pics of treadwear as Ive never seen a pair of RE050A last more than 14,000 miles, it is a super soft compound tire that has a tread rating of 140.

I will post a treadwear picture later this evening. I'd be shocked if these tires actually have 10k on them. Most likely less than that.

I was just thinking about this standing at our shipping computer at work and I believe you are very, very wrong regarding your life estimate of these tires. My wife hit 30,000 on hers and we changed them only because they had recently lost their grip in the snow.

Here's a link for reference. How long did your Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires last?

That is insane LOL...these people must drive like grandmas. Then again, I drive HARD.

Hey bro, just know im in NO WAY trying to **** on your sale....your tires may very well have more than 50% of their life left....

Bottom line, pictures with a penny inside the tread will tell the full story my dude.

GLWS bro

OK, so these tires have definitely seen less than 10k. Had them swapped before winter came on my first year owning the car. I honestly didn't track the mileage in that time, but I usually average 12k per year so that seems right.

Research shows that these tires brand new come with 10/32 of tread. With that in mind, check out my photos. I put a penny in each tire, just to show them all. From what I gather on this penny compared to Tirerack's website, the tread remaining is between 6/32 and 7/32.

I baby my vehicles. These things haven't seen a single skid or burnout.

Bro....that is crazy!!!!!

Let me tell you a little story….My first car (ever) was a spanking brand new 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT, with 20 miles on it. The tires on that car were, RE050A’s. That set lasted me 13,000.

My next car was a 2012 G37S Sedan in 6MT. That car came with 18 inch RE050A’s. Those tires lasted me 12,500 before the car was downright scary in the rain.

My current car is a 2014 “Q60” Coupe in 6MT. 19 inch RE050A’s. I literally swapped out that set 2 weeks ago and I had 12,875 miles on those. Had a maximum of 1,000 miles before they were bald.

The fact that your tires look basically new, is absolute insanity to me. You must REALLY baby your vehicles brother, as those tires look impeccable. For $500, I think you might be asking too little, just saying.

GLWS bro.

Thanks for the kind words and follow up, chili. Really appreciate it.

My friends do refer to me as a grandfather when I drive. I guess maybe tread wear on soft compound tires really might really depend on driving type. Also, I live in a colder climate than you (Upstate NY), so maybe they don't last get as much tread life on hot tarmac? Just an entertaining thought. Probably not true.
