I was looking for a set of summer tires since this is probably the last summer I'll get out of mine. Especially if I take it to the track this year. I've been running Michelin Pilot Super Sports, which I've been really happy with, and was planning on upgrading to the Pilot Sport 4S' but I found a good price on the PSS' (~$100/ea, 5% off if you use code EMAIL5, and get 3% cashback from ebates) so I pulled the trigger. I suspect it's because these are closeouts. For comparison they are ~$166 on tirerack and when I purchased them 3 yrs ago I got them for a really good price at the time ($145). I've never used simpletire.com but it has good reviews and free shipping so I'm giving it a shot. Road hazard is only ~$10/tire too.

Looks like the price went back up to $142/tire, which is still cheaper than tirerack even though they are sold out there anyway, but thought I'd mention that I received them yesterday. I ordered them Thursday morning and got them Monday, which is awesome for free shipping! I probably got lucky with a previous gen tire but I will definitely keep these guys on my radar for my next set. There was also an option during the checkout to pre-pay the mount and balance at a local shop (all mine were NTB's) at a discount. I passed on it since I don't plan on swapping them out right away.
