This is kind of a nitpick (although a fact), but these aren't from an IPL, they are from an anniversary coupe (2010).

IPL seats have the "IPL" logo embroidered on the seat backs and Silk Obi trim for the doors.

Anniversary seats have "Infiniti" embroidered on the seat backs and rosewood trim for the doors.

Either way, it's a sweet set.

 

i think your confused, i have only seen 2013 and up with ipl stitched in it , 11 and 12 didnt have ipl

 

Actually...... I have an '11 and have owned 7 G's..... Heres the facts.....

My 2011 is stitched with infiniti........ people complained that the first year 2011 IPL didn't have enough "IPL" to really mean anything.... so in 2012 Infinit put IPL Floormats and started stitching the seats also.
same for 2013 with the addition of the color in white convertible for IPL.

in 2011, mine came with G37 floor mats, which I bought 2012 ones for it.... but my seats are in fact stitched in Infiniti..... it was the next year they stitched IPL in the seats 2012.

in 2011 you could only buy Monaco red in the Mabec Black with 7AT auto Trans.
if you got a manual - it was automatically Black interior with Red stitching.

The LP 2011 only came with Black interior and red stitching - NO IPL in these seats either. - Both the Monaco Red and The Black with red stitching seats were stitched with the infiniti Logo only this year....?
So does that make them more or less rare.... you decide....

In 2012 and up You could get the Monaco Red in the LP and Malbec - Both had the IPL stitching in the Black seats with Red stitching and Red seats.... IPL stitching was added to both colors for the first time.

2013 the addition of white IPL in convertible only - red or stone interior - IPL stitched in the seats as well......

And those my friends are the FACTS of the IPL seat history...... In case anyone wanted to know the story behind the differences.

 

Anyone feel free to Check with modern infiniti of Greensboro - Of the now 14 infinitis my wife and I have custom ordered over the years...... they know us by name - we have always custom ordered 2 at a time... the same day.

I know all the options by hand...... trust me, my IPL was one of the first 10 built and shipped the first year.... I wanted a first Run The actual delivery and Pick uo date on my 2011 was Dec. 24th ( Christmas eve ) - 2010...... and I follow them every year.... very closely.

Tell them the Brooks' sent you.... discounts baby.... Yeah! - Talk To Rob the District Manager - He will tell you I know my stuff.

Thanks IPL G37 for clearing that up. I have only seen IPL's with the logo stitched on the back rest, I was not aware of that change. I am willing to admit when I make a mistake.

Congrats on the sale G35-31, hopefully the uproar of bumps from my posts helped you out a bit, lol.

Wasn't trying to be mean or anything, but when it comes to IPLs people seem to really hate them, but want to look like them, so it has always been important for me that there are differences, and most people don't even know what they are.

I am glad to always share any knowledge I may have as well as welcome things I don't know.

Again, glad the seats sold...... the only way to get them was from the factory or buy an IPL.

So...... Congrats to the seller and buyer.
