New 4.08 ring & pinion set + differential

Category: Drivetrain
Price: $850
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Coupe, 2010+ G37 Sedan, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe, 2008-2009 G37 Sedan, Other Model G's
Location (State/Prov): NJ
Item Condition: Brand New

Brand new 4.08 ring & pinion set, brand new bearings and a brand new open differential. The bearings are already pressed on. I was going to have the diff welded up to make a spool out of it but I will leave that up to the buyer. I have gone FI so I don't really have any use for these. The ring and pinion alone go for nearly $600, and the kit with the bearings is another almost $300 and the differential is another $400 so don't lowball me. Looking for $850 OBO. Also have a diff housing available so you could swap the whole thing in one shot and keep your stock rear intact. Might consider some barters, mainly looking for a set of 275/40/19 rear and 245/45/19 front tires, also looking for a set of adjustable camber front upper control arms, so if you are local (northern-central NJ) we could work something. Shipping should be like $40 or less to pretty much anywhere.

Me too! I'm in Dallas but going back to Jersey (where I am from) for the week 4th of july. Beach time lol. What size wheels? I got 2-245/45/18 firestone firehawk Indy 500 with low miles. Or I got 2 brand new 245/40/18 bf Goodrich g force II drag radials. Still with stickers on them. Also have kinetix control arms on my car now I may take them off for these. PM if anything catches your interest.

Need 19" on the tires, definitely interested in those control arms though.

Would you do just the gears and bearings without the diff housing? I already upgraded my 08 journey with the Manuel version Vlsd since my car orginaly came with the lsd. If so what would be your price? And if I throw in the front control arms what would you be thinking?

I'd like to try and keep it all together at this point. I would also have to get the bearings pressed off which I don't really want to do. What do you figure the arms are worth used?

Because it was mocked up, but never ran. Do you see any wear on the bearings or gears??

Sorry I don't understand.. why would the bearings have to be pressed off? Also probably like 200 I bought them a few months back from dimsler. Here's the post but he took the pic down. It has the details about the arms. I paid like 225 or 215 for them. I wouldn't mind paying extra for the differential I would just want the gears already installed. So I could just take my diff out and sell it. Also did you say that differential was an open diff. I thought the gears only fit in the Manuel version housing?

You said you wanted the ring & pinion but not the diff. I would have to remove the bearings, unless you don't want the diff bearings. That housing is from an 08 350z, which uses the same housing on the auto and manual, which is also the same housing in manual g37 and 370z. $200 sounds OK for the control arms.

Would you sell me just ring and pinion with the two bearings pressed on...that is If you don't want to have them pressed off. I also had a thought would you have any need for 3.69's that I'll be taking out. Plus I would be buying an install kit at this point so I could send the 2 new bearings. If any of this is an option what cash would you want straight up or untop of the camber arms?

So you are saying you want everything in the pic on the top including the carrier with the bearings? You should get it welded up and use it. It's a hell of a lot better than the stock vlsd, and a whole lot cheaper than a helical LSD unit.

Lol sorry no I was saying without diff and diff bearings. Seeing if you would want my gears to make a package with that diff. To be honest I really want to get a 1.5 quaife here soon after.
