Hello,

I am looking to buy a Tanabe Axleback exhaust for my 08 G37S Coupe. I am located in Buffalo, NY. Looking to spend around $450 but will be willing to spend more depending on the condition and shipping cost. If anyone is interested I have a Stillen exhaust with about 30k miles on it that I would be willing to do a trade for as well.

I have some clones if you are interested, they are from top-speed so the quality is actually pretty good. I had the real tanabes and my buddy had these and they were pretty much the same, sounded the same too. I'm in NJ so shipping shouldn't be to bad...

 

Save some money and go withy the top speed. Acid warp is right, the quality is top notch and they sound the same.

 

How much you want for that stillen exhaust? Just curious why you are trying to trade out for tanabe? Andddd umm any problems with the stillen exhaust?

 

No problems with the exhaust! It's a very high quality exhaust and it sounds great. As you may know its a more quiet exhaust but the renowned VQ throaty growl really comes out when you step on it. Its my personal preference but the only problem I had with it was the fitment. I just wished the tips were more flush. However some people may like that they jut out. Idk haha kinda iffy bout the quality on it. How do they sounds in person?

 

I'm actually looking into this as well. I think there are 2 versions, one with reasonator and one without. I'm wondering how's the sound tone and possible amount of rasp for the none reasonator version without test pipes/ hfc. For my understanding there should be no rasp at all with stock cats... Anyone got any input on this?

 

I have full tanabe system for sale for 1200 but too bad you're not local and shipping probably not worth it
