I am selling a set of Berk HFC's which were on my '08 G37s Coupe for a very short period. I received these cats on Feb. 1st, installed on Feb. 10th & uninstalled them on Feb. 23rd. The G had 20,416 mi. when the cats were installed and 20,557 mi. when they were uninstalled.., so they have less than 150 miles on them! I simply just wasn't impressed with the overall sound quality these produced with my set up so I've decided to go back to stock cats. I do not drive the car in rain or snow so they are in perfect condition as you can see by the pics.
I would prefer a local buyer but I am willing to ship; however, buyer pays for shipping. The gaskets, nuts & bolts which were used are also included with this sale and will ship in the original box. If interested you can either PM me or call me @ 860-985-4758 during reasonable hours eastern time.
PS: I've been a member on this forum for sometime; however, I have never submitted a post so please pardon any ignorance displayed on my part through this process.
Thanks.

I have the Stillen CBE -
I just wasn't fond of the hissing/raspy noise as a result of adding HFC's. I emailed Berk to inquire regarding this noise and this is what I was told..,
"HFC's muffle the sound quite a bit and the type of exhaust can also make a pretty big difference on how it will sound. The slight rasp that you hear with HFC's is a very well known and documented thing. It is totally subjective on how loud or how "present" it is, some guys don't even notice it and some hear it like someone screaming into their ear all the time. Like I was saying, it is present on ALL exhaust systems when you install HFC/test pipes".

Hello dnieto82,
A sale is pending; however, if it doesn't end up happening I will let you know. I should hear back from the potential buyer by tonight.
I will do $380 with you paying the shipping (roughly around $25 to 87121) with payment arrangements made using PayPal and I'll pay those fees.
Thanks for your interest.
