Why modify at all then? Is the implication that one should modify with cheap, lesser quality parts? I never understood the mentality behind comments like this...

If you are going to modify your car, why wouldn't you want to do it using quality parts?

So, if I am not mistaken with my interpretation of these sentiments, I guess Kevin should have either purchased a used GT-R or chose to modify his G with shoddy parts.
