Top Secret rear diffuser (cf)

Category: Exterior - Body Parts
Price: $750
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits: 2010+ G37 Sedan, 2008-2009 G37 Coupe
Location (State/Prov): OR
Item Condition: Used

I'm currently selling my Top Secret carbon fiber rear diffuser. My reason for selling is because I'm getting another. This part looks flawless on the car, their are scrapes under the diffuser which can not be seen when installed on the car, but I know they are there, so I'm getting another. These scrapes came from my car being lowered and maneuvering in and out of driveways / parking lots. I will accept ALL reasonable offers.

I have seen this part retail anywhere from $1700-$2200 depending where you get it from, and I do not believe ANY brand new ones are currently in the U.S., they must come from Japan, so you will need to pay additional shipping to get a brand new one in the U.S. If standard you will have to wait a month or two, if air freight you will pay $1,200 - $1,500 depending which carrier you can go with.

I will have a box + shipping materials from my new diffuser, so finding a box will not be a problem. Please allow me at least two weeks from today 10/13/2010 to have the item packaged and ready to go, my new diffuser should be here from Japan by then. (air freight).

You MAY need have custom brackets installed by a body shop if you plan to DYI, I will try to have 1 of the 3 different body shops who have installed this diffuser for me guide you through the process.

Thank you for looking.

no i dont think you can repair carbon fiber.. but the scratches are under the part. I think if anyones lowered it will scrape, like a front lip... my new one will scrape, I'm just picky, this will be my third one.

hey does this come with all the hardware to DIY install at home? I see where you said we MAY need some "kits" to make this fit on our car..? does this require drilling into the stock bumper?

Is this a authentic TS bumper with a plaque or somethin? or a 350z diffuser modded to fit the G37...?

lol I love the questions sir.

This "IS" an authentic Top Secret Japan carbon fiber diffuser for the Infiniti G37 Coupe lol just to confirm!

You do not need to drill into the stock bumper it uses the holes for the rear splash guards. Those will need to be removed. The extra hardware I'm speaking of is some parts you may want more enforced than others to be on the safe side, I don't know your driving styles. You may want to weld an extra bracket or two.

Oh and for the record, there are no brand new Top Secret diffusers in the United States, and none are even in Japan, they are made to order and currently have a estimated time of 3-4 weeks to build.
