Hypertech says the 2010 tune will be out any day now. All you 2010 owners should buy this, stick it in a drawer, have a little patience, and you will end up with a great tune for a ridiculous price.

Should be out any day now; it's currently in beta sayeth the tech people at Hypertech. It comes with a CD that loads a program on your PC. You hook up the tuner with an included USB cable to your computer, start up the program; it checks the tuner type / model / tune you have, then compares with the Hypertech servers online - if there is a new tune update or option available, it downloads and then installs it to the tuner. Easy Peasy.

Yes, it would, it wouldn't be a separate piece of hardware, it'd be a matter of Hypertech simply offering the tune, and then the software on your PC downloading it and adding it to the programmer as one of the tune options.

I just asked the product request people when is the 2010 tune expected out. It will be out soon enough. One would be smart to pick this thing up for a song, and then, in a month or two, have a nice hypertech tune for literally half-price.

#
G37x AT - yup, x or s or tranny doesn't matter as the tune is all about the engine.

Would this be wise for a leased G37? Don't want the dealership to give me a hard time during trade in.

it allows you to revert back to stock mapping whenever you like, but nissan/infiniti can probably see if the programing had ever been changed.

Yes the beauty of a handheld is you can go back to stock whenever you like
and then back again.
