Used Complete Akebono BBK

Category: Brakes
Price: $1120
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Location (State/Prov): MA
Item Condition: Used

I am posting to see if there is any interest in my Akebono Big Brake Kit. These brakes are used with about 26,500 miles on them. They are in very good condition, although they could be washed. Comes complete with everything needed for installation including calipers, rotors, and lines. I am not in a rush to sell these. I have no problem keeping them if there is no interest. Shipping will be $85 to anywhere in the lower 48.

Question

Are you willing to break up the set? How much for just the rears if you are. Thanks

I'd really rather not split up the set, but PM me an offer and I will at least consider it...

That is just from sitting. It happens all the time. A good spirited driving/braking session will get rid of it. I get it on my BBK often, but once you use the brakes a few times it goes away without a problem. I tried to look for a picture but could only find one of my old Stop-Tech kit... (Disregard the caliper paint - that was another issue . But this picture was taken when the brakes were less than a week old.)

But, in all honestly, I think anyone will tell you that rotor rust goes away rather easily after you hit the brakes a few times...

Mine rust up every time it rains. Couple hard stops and its gone. They will sell much quicker if you clean them up and take new pics though. GLWS.

In order to mount these up do you need any type of different brackets?

I believe the only modifications that need to be made on non-sport G models is a removal or trimming of the dust shields behind the rotors (although I could be wrong)...

As stated above, I didn't really want to split up the set, but shoot me a PM with a fair offer and I will gladly consider it.

I don't know what a "fair offer" would be for just the calipers.

If your mounting these on a G35, yes there are brackets that you need to fit the front calipers. The rears mount as they are. As noted above the dust shield does need to be cut on the fronts aswell.
