I wanted to see if the $100 G35 wheels I bought and put Blizzaks on would fit okay before winter hit, so I installed 'em today. I snapped a few pics. They certainly don't perform like the stock summer tires, but not too bad. I suppose they'll work fine for winter.

Please explain why you would have pliers on the floor for a wheel swap though...

 

Pliers? Duh, how else do you get the lug nuts off?

Seriously, my jack has a little screw/bolt deal that I need to turn to lock and unlock the jack to raise and lower it. I use the pliers to turn the screw/bolt deal thingy.

 

ahhhhh - that makes sense.

I think I have a solution for you...
The end of the handle that you insert into the sleeve/tube to actuate the piston on the jack should have a notch inside the handle that can be used for this function. Simply slip the non handle end onto the "screw/bolt deal thingy" and turn the handle end. Viola - no pliers needed...

 

Nice, now you know why I'm not a mechanic. I'll have to try that come spring when the Blizzaks come off.
