new spoiler... finally

I finally got the OEM spoiler installed from the dealer today.. final price was a little over $1000... $742 for the spoiler.. plus $220 for installation (yes it involves drilling into the trunk) plus tax...

Overall.. I knew the car would like alot nicer by getting rid of that god-awful antenna... but I was fairly impressed by the smoother lines it creates especially with the top UP... here's some pics..

I posted the last picture because I wanted some opinions.. it looks like to install the rearview camera properly... they had to angle the camera down more.. you can actually see the Mt. Fuji in the rearview camera now.. I don't think the range of the view changed drastically.. but I definitely couldn't see the Infiniti logo before... oh well...

Another thing I'm not too crazy about either is the 3rd brake light.. it makes the back look kind of tacky IMO.. post your thoughts! more goodies on the way.. hopefully next week...

oh and no I'm not handicapped.. the complex I live in just happened to give me that spot because there weren't any other ones available if you guys were wondering...

Nice. Congrats on getting it. Looks good. That's a steep price though, but there is demand.

Is this spoiler only for the vert?

I like it alot better than the the other coupe spoiler.

Would it fit a non vert 2010 g37x coupe? Please say yes.

MAN!! I dont think i would spend that much for a spoiler. Good thing I work for Infiniti and can get it for under 400 and can install it myself. lol. Looks good though congrats

Damn good looking ride. I don't usualy like spoilers but that one really looks clean. I like the headlight treatment but the chin spoiler makes the front look heavy IMO.

Odd with the missing lights in the middle, it looks like there are LED bulbs out. Not sure why they'd do that.

The missing space is for the camera and I guess they needed that space for the housing behind it. It may not look like it's in the way but I suspect there is something going on where you would expect the light to be.

So we got 4 brake lights

Yes but also so the light doesn't impact image while backing up- basics photography.. I guess

I jealous: just kidding - happy for you. I probably will never get the Athens Blue spoiler unless I buy another color and have i painted which I don't prefer.

Holy crap, thats a lot of money!!! I bought mine on eBay for $150 and installed it myself. Relatively easy install. Yes, what hurt more was drilling into the trunk, but looks good!!!

FYI This spoiler is for convertible has integrated AM/Fm antenna , the coupe's spoiler is not the same.

For convertible spoiler : installation is lot more complex than coupe.

Should be the same, all you have thats more is the cables. I have the LED brake light, shouldn't be hard at all.
