Did a quick (sigh) 2 hr detail this week. Nothing special, just a thorough wash, spray on / maintenance wax (Optimum). I put on paste carnuba wax on top of opti-seal less frequently, once every few weeks. Thorough interior clean etc.... This was 1 min photo session before I had to take off for work, I just liked the way the clean car looked on that overcast morning, so I decided to snap some shots before it got too dusty. I had the 50mm lens on my DSLR at the time so this is what I used.

I did not do much detailing work to this car yet. Just some clay and 1 stage polish after taking delivery of it in March, plus new car prep (sealant inside and out).

I am very happy with my xS!

Silver cars are extremely hard to get reflections but you did a great job. Nice photography skills as well.

 

Looks great. Makes me second guess not getting the sport. I love the looks of the stock 18 inch wheels...
