Paint time

Got my favourite Dupont material one of the best clearcoats in the market.




Shade I went with is VW Golf R20 Rising Blue, for me its the perfect shade not dark not light and shows the lines of the car very nicely



There was a fender lying with the painter so did a quick test panel with clearcoat




This was last week, few pics (very high quality BB pics lol) from this week

They opened up everything which was good

Your rear setup is almost exactly what I wanted to do if I ever decided to go widebody. Revised trunk spoiler, revised rear bumper, and etc...

And that new color... just WOW.

Awesome wheels. I do change wheels quiet often let's see till when I can hold the temptation lol.

With new colour I know I would need darker colour.

These are RAYS right seems like available only in 19?

 

Speechless.. In for final pictures! Nice color! Curious to see the diffuser color against this. Will you give it more of a flat black/gloss block? or blue to blend?

Paint should be done by next weekend. It might delay as I'm thinking of getting another rear spoiler from Carbonsignal in FRP and mould it.

If you mold a rear lip wing, will you still have convenient access to remove your rear back up camera from the inside?

Reason I ask is because I remember having to remove the rear trunk lid finisher to access the camera.

 

Yeah, current max size is 19", but they're extremely light for their size.

On top of that, with your sporty theme, I think a proper set of 19" would do more justice than a set of heavy 20s. Just saying...

 

Wow.. Love the add on's .. Recently the sedan's are stepping up big time and I've started liking them more than the coupes. Can't wait to see once paint is finished.
