**My New Custom Steering Wheel** (Carbon Fiber/Alcantra)

Sup guys!

I finally got to a chance to install my new custom steering wheel. Sorry it took me so long to put these in my car. I know that some of you guys were waiting a long time for me to install these.

Anyway, I want to thank the guys at Dallas Custom Wheel for the awesome work. I had them add extra padding for more thickness around the wheel. Then had the wheel re-wrapped in perforated leather upper and bottom, and added some alcantra sides for the euro look. Everything was finished off in red diamond pattern stitching. All in all, everything came out just the way I wanted it. The matte CF bezel was done by Tony at Carbon Fiber Element (vendor on myg37).

I absolutely love the way the new wheel feels in my hands. They feel so much beefier than the stock wheel. Plus the extra padding feels so much more nicer in my hands.

Anyway, enough with the jibberish and on to the pics!

Comments are always welcome btw.

Your wheel came out amazing! That's the best I've seen so far. What's the purse $ ? if you don't mind me asking.

Thanks! I got the spare oem steering wheel for dirt cheap less than $100. Paid $380 for the leather/alcantra work. Then paid $120 for the CF bezel.

Cost me a pretty penny but all worth in in the end IMO.

So far, this is my 2nd favorite mod behind my 180Custom headlights.

that price isnty bad AT ALL for what you got. I'd pay $500 for that any day of the week. Lucky guy, how's the grip vs stock? whats the carbon on with 3m?

They feel much better on the hands over stock. They are more grippy + more softer in the hands. I always felt that my stock wheel was pretty tough on the hands when driving for an extended period. Btw the CF is not an overlay/vinyl. It's real CF work done by Carbon Fiber Element, a vendor here on this forum.

It looks great my man! IMO u made great combo choices here. I'm not a huge fan of CF interior, but I would def have that wheel in my car. And I agree with rys- the price is right on par for what u got!
