It looks great!

Something is amiss if it's as loud as you're describing. I am not a fan of loud exhausts, my wife easily notices them and my kids would have a hard time sleeping in their seats if that were the case.

It was rather audible right after the install, but it's become mellower since then. So much so that my wife has already asked me what happened to the big box in the garage, and my kids still sleep quite soundly. One of them is your namesake, so that's gotta be worth something, right?

Other than a possible leak, could it be from that dent?

Hm...I don't think it's from the dent. I'll have to inspect it again, but there weren't any broken welds, or creases when I inspected it the first time. It's loudest more towards the MIDDLE of the car, right where the resonators sit on the exhaust. I'm brushing it off at the moment as the resonators doing their job. Oh wells...I'm a bit unused to the note of the exhaust - it's giving me a headache because the tone sounds exactly like how my previous TL with broken pre-cat deletes + true exhaust (straight pipe); reminds me of the horrors, if you will ...

Thanks man It's a love/hate relationship at the moment. Definitely looks good from certain angles, but not at all...will have to fix that somehow (considering an ak rear diffuser and/or side aprons).

You get rid of your H&R coupes yet?

Yea i got them off, now i have eibach coupe springs.. Wow what a difference

 

sigh...playing the telephone game with ups to see if they're going to cover the damage on both mufflers. they want me to remove the mufflers (at least it's only the mufflers) and let them pick them up (along with the gigantic box) for inspection. awesome...cars down over the weekend

 

Um drive without mufflers I did that for a little, sounds awesome

 

Invidia is awesome!!! Good choice on your selection. I previously had the Stillen CBE on my sedan and hated that it was so damn LOUD and the drone was unbareable! But on top of that i also have Kinetics high flow cats and JWT pop charger. I met SoundMike at one of our friends BBQ fundraising event for a school and heard his exhaust......it was amazing. So quiet yet throaty. I just installed my invidia yesterday so here is the sound clip. Remember that i have hfc on my car so that's gonna make the system louder then without.

i have a good amount of drone, and cold starts are almost ear numbing. hm...

 

there was a leak...fixed now, but here's what it sounded like before...

 

Really like the sounds of this one! Maybe Invidia is in my future!

 

Oh wow. Yeah, that sure sounded like a leak somewhere. That's what happened when I first installed my Stillen exhaust.
